So just recently bought myself a 95' V6 3.4L Convertible 2-door and upon taking my car through the wash to check for leakage in the soft top, I was surprised at it did in fact leak but not from the soft top. Its more so coming in from the top of the windshield, where the soft top meets the windshield just before you lock it down. The stripping up there is cracked. I did buy some new stripping through rockauto but Im not sure if its the right type or what it is I am looking for. So if it ends up not being what I am looking for does anyone know what I should look for and if there is a way to patch it? Id greatly apperciate it. It's probably a longshot but your local Chevy dealer might have the part or at least the part number and description.
