Default Question about 95 Convertible......

I recently bought a very nice '95 V-6 convertible with 41K actual miles. While installing a Flowmaster exhaust today, I noticed what appears to be a motor in the left rear wheel well behind the tire. I assume it has to do with the convertible top? My problem is that it's hanging loose and I can't figure out how to re-attach it. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
