Electical Problem-- Need Help Guys
Vehicle: 2002 Chevrolet Camaro
Engine: 3.8L - Added a STS Rear Turbo with upgrades, etc, etc.
I had a rear main seal replaced and ever since my passenger side turn signal shuts off the car when turned on. Also when the headlights are turned on, the passenger headlight, turn signal and fog light are dimmed. As if that weren't enough variables, when the horn is pressed the headlights turn on. One more variable... I installed new pigtails on the turn signals and they seem to be fine (wired correctly) however this was also installed at the same time of the rear main seal, and I don't feel like they could be an issue since they are wired correctly. When keys are turned to the on position the right side turn signal stays lit although the turn signal is in the off position (This is the light on the dash not the actual bulbs at the front and rear of the car). Some have said ignition switch but I just have a hard time believing that since the car was returned to me with this issue (After rear main seal was replaced), and if it is a lose ground how can I narrow down to an area to check without having to check every lead which seems crazy.
Any Suggestions??
