2010 Camaro won't start
Took it to Chevrolet dealership service. They checked some things and charged me $1759 to tell me that it needed further diagnostic. I just can't afford $140/hr and parts for them to keep trying things. Anybody had similar issues? This is what they said.
Engine spins over but no start. Removed and replaced spark plugs, still no start. No codes stored or active in ECM. Continued diagnostics and found crank sensor had failed. Replaced crank sensor, RPM's now registering but still no start. Checked fuel pump pressure, it is at 50PSI. Most likely high pressure fuel pump has failed and not providing proper pressure to fuel rail. Performed compression check (#1 = 210 PSI, #3 = 210 PSI, #5 = 220 PSI, #2 = 135 PSI, #4 = 145 PSI & #6 = 145 PSI). Left bank is 75 PSI lower than right bank. Advised customer of findings, no further diagnostics done at this time. PLEASE help.
