if u didnt have the opti hooked up then it wouldnt start. needs the crank and cam sensors to tell the injectors when to shoot the fuel. charge the battery and try to start it before taking the fuel rail off.

Another update with some success. I replaced the fuel filter of all things, very dirty and couldn't feel air come out when I blew into it. Now I can start it up and it will stay running. I have to pump the accelerator in order for it start up. Once started the idle is really rough and the throttle response is poor. Is this because I have the intake w/ electrical removed? I'm wonder if it's just because it hasn't been started and running in a while. The opti is on correct and I made sure the spark plug wires are in the correct spot on the opti.

check the crank position sensor,the egnition coil and the most important part the brain
