Default Scan

Sounds like you need to scan the car and see what codes (if any) it's throwing- I could be wrong, but I think that would be a good place to start.

I don't have any other spare keys. I did the nifty paperclip jumper to get into the diagnostics mode. It didn't show any codes.

It's the 16pin ALDL connector, pin 5 is the GRND and pin 6 is the SYS DIAG. The CEL light went away, and I was waiting for it to start flashing the code but it never did.

well my wireing is different than yours so thats as far as i can go. there is a driver wire for the injectors that u need to check buut i cant tell u were it is. u have a different plugin for your ecm. the fuses for the injectors on mine are the #9 and 10 fuses in the box and are 7.5 amps. im thinkin it may be the key decoder modual. could be two bad injector driver wires that goes from the ecm and the injectors but thats unlikely. did u check an injector on each side?

Jesus I"m a retard. I forgot to install the opti. After I did that and hooked everything up, the noid light on the previous injector light flashed. I went to do the next one but the Z is out of battery. I'll charge it and pull the fuel rail/injectors to see if fuel is getting out of them.

just a heads up i got a new opti from summit and my car still wouldnt run right / start. when i could get it to turn over it would idle sporadically miss fire and then die. After a bunch of testing on the ECU and Wires I got summit to replace it for free and that solved it. So you might still have a bad opti
