An off road y-pipe is a y-pipe without cats. Its only supposed to be used "off road" and not on public streets since its doesnt have any emission controlling devices on it.Depens on the cutout brand, some bolt to the end of the headers others you can weld into the exaust

Electric cutouts are neat, but is it really worth the extra money over regular cut-outs to be able to scare small children, **** off old people and ward off ricers?

Is there any performance difference adding the cutouts?

Not between electric and manual, most people see ~30 rwhp on a dyno with the cutouts open.

Im thinking of doing something along the lines of that. Probably an off road y-pipe and install the cutout right past the y-interstection on the pipe before it bolts up to the rest of the exhaust.
