Yeah I have 3 inch cutouts with no cats and it sounds great, I need to get the system welded and then I will get a sound clip. Not to mention power differences of coarse. Every little bit helps.

I have heard reports of the electronic cutouts leaking, and the manual being less likely to leak.

When you flow to your rear exhaust, your cutout dead-end will create turbulence, making your normal exhaust less than ideal... Too bad there's not a better design out there...

hey i just put my 3" cutout on my 2002 ss and it sounds a little better, deffinetly you can hear the difference, but it would be so much better with long tubes and ORY for sure.

i think the cutout is deffinetly worth the 30 bucks tho

Which brand cutouts are you using, and manual or electric? Also, how is the quality, and does it leak much when closed?
