Ugly popping sound after shift
So I was reading around the interwebs, and I come across a thread about that nasty popping sound I get after shifting when my rpm's were high. Im pretty sure it was talking about what mine is doing and I hate that sound. It said that getting headers that deleted the AIR system gets rid of it. The AIR system it refers to is the air pump right? Anyway, is that true, if so its one more reason for me to hurry up on my headers/exhaust install.
Its in the exhaust. It happens as soon as I let off the throttle or if I rev up my motor to a certain rpm. Its not back fire, its a series of, for lack of a better word, trickling rumbles.
Ah, I think it might have been in there. So when I get headers (Pacesetter egr air delete long tubes) Will it run bad until I get a tune to delete the systems, or will blocking them off be enough and ill just have a code?
