tune needed with lt4 hotcam kit?

Just wondering if anyone knows if a tune is necessary for the lt4 hotcam kit by GM Performance. if not, will it bog out? or not even run. thanks

If it used in an engine that came with a MAF (94 & newer), the PCM will be able to adjust OK, although a PCM tune will optimize things. The LT4 hot cam, in reality not that hot.

i got a '95. so your saying that i should just go out and buy something a bit better to really feel the difference? (hence with the tune)
