got a 4l60e in a 94 z28 and it wont shift into gear, it will shift and run fine in reverse but in any other gear just budges a inch or two, so whats up guys, what cani do to fix it, simple solenoid or rebuild time?

 

Well my 700r4 in my Iroc did the very exact same thing. I took the pan off and there was metal shavings in the fluid, it was bad. Not saying thats what is wrong with yours, but just simple guess. But It ended up getting rebuilt.

 

i plan on gettin under it tomarrow and checking for shavings, most likely with my luck its just something so stupid and easy to fix, after you ofcourse spend a crap load of money just to find that easy fix, we'll c
