Is there any web site to show how to replace transmission mount on 95 Camaro?

 

No but it is very very very simple. Put your car on jack stands, get under the car and unbolt the tranny mount. I believe it's a 15mm and two 12mm nuts/bolts. Jack the tranny up enough to slide out the mount. Put the new mount in in reverse order of what I just told you.

1. We pulled our car up onto a set of Rhino Ramps and placed the rear of the car on jack stands.
A word of caution here (ok, a few)....I once put a car half way through a garage door doing that, as the front end decided to roll down the ramps once the back end was jacked up. Oops!!! Good thing I was smart enough to not have been behind the car at the time of jackage.

 

I was wondering if you guys have had many problems with y'alls mounts? When I bought my car a few months ago it needed a new one, so I replaced it, and now I already broke the one I just got. Any reason or idea as to why i'm going through these things so fast?

 

you need to put your right foot on a diet.

 

And buy a polyurethane trans mount. It'll last forever! Lol

 

I am sorry to hijack this thread, but what is the thread/pitch of the nut for the tranny mount on a M6?
I lost the nut...

 

haha yeah im going to work on that.

and Chaotic94 the ones i bought are polyurethane. it just broke in half. i noticed it began to mess up again have i hit a decent size pot hole, so maybe the vibration from that could've done something?

 

look at installing a tunnel mounted torque bar.
