stroked lt1?

Default stroked lt1?

has any body ever herd of a stroked lt1 cuz i want to buld one just need to know if i can get the parts

Stroking an LT1 is pretty common, it's the same as stroking any SBC. Search and you'll find the answers you need.

yep they are the same crankshaft(1 piece rear seal), oil pan, connecting rods, pistons, pushrods, valves, retainers, valve covers and oil pump.

thanks i really didnt know but that helps alot and i found a short block for a reasonable price to

no the internals will not be the same, depending on how much it is stroked and bored, yes its the same part types but they will be much larger or smaller depending on what you do

He was asking if they were same between Gen. 1 Small Block and LT1(gen.2). Of course they are not the same if it is stroked, he is talking about stroking. The point is to make a stroker you can use Gen.1 parts in a LT1 to stroke it.

Just make sure all the parts you use are for a full roller assembly and you'll be good to go.

gvmv: They do not use the same valve covers, F-Body LT1 Valve covers have a specific dent in them to clear the alternator.

Good to know, my book is not F-body specific.
