Default Recommend a good clutch for '95 Z28

I hear a little strange noise when I release my clutch to start driving - mainly when cold.Once it engages there is no further problem. This plus the car has 75K miles and a bit of an oil leak just started somewhere near the rear seal so.... off to the shop we go to fix it all.

I'm going to go ahead and do the clutch while it's there. Rather than let the shop decide what to put in, can anyone recommend something that has worked for them? I don't need a race clutch and I don't want it any stiffer than stock so .. maybe I just need the parts from GM? Any advice/recommendation is appreciated.

Thanks.....

Hey i just read your post and im glad to see that not only my clutch is as stiff as hell, i just got my camaro so i dont know alot but i can definetly tell u dont go as far as a stage 2 clutch if your not looking for anything stiffer or racing.I got a question for you do you have problems going into reverse, i have to go into 1st gear first and really feel the shifter pop in or else it grinds.

I've got a RAM HD in my camaro that's been working great for a few years now, it's daily driver, and I do a few track days with it now and then with no problems. But if you're looking for something to use on the track regularly, I don't know about that.

ok well if ur not making much power then this is what id reccomend. go to pepboys and get a clutch there they have a lifetime warrenty so when it goes bad they'll replace it. i had a pepboys clutch it lasted 23k hard miles. but if your makin good power look into ram. or centerforce. and if your makin crazy power there's nothin better then a mcleod twin disk

when I did my clutch recently I went with the Spec 3+, but it was expensive. RAM was another company I looked at, and their HD series was a little weak for my needs. if you arent crazy modded then go with the ram HD, should be good for you.
