HELP V6 3.4L Recommend a good clutch please
I recently purchased a 94 Camaro v6 overall i thought it was going to be a faster ride i barely beat a 96 jetta 2.0 Li burn 60L/350kms on averagewhich i think is pretty high for a v6 model would replacing the fuel injectors help me out? and i have a few problems.
1.My clutch is ready to go and keeps on slippin while shifting when i try to accelerate the rpms jump quickly and slip back down where the actual gear picks up im looking to buy a lighter flywheel and i was thinking about a stage 2 clutch any suggestions on where i can get a decent price and quality? and if the stage 2 would actually be worth it
2. The reverse makes a grinding noise only way to shift is goingfrom 1st to R and u have to put it in perfectly or else it grinds (transmission problem?)
3. The clutch is verry stiff its like a rock to press in any ideas how i can loosen it a lil bit every time i drive my friends vw's im use to my clutch and i press theirs in like butter i cant even feel it lol
4. The car is making a fast pace ticking noise definetly coming somewhere close to the motor first i thought it was the ac its not like a heavy rumble maybe one of the belts?

tick may be an exhaust leak. first place i would look.
clutch stiffness cant really be changed without replacing the clutch, and the higher performance you go the more stiff they feel
ur 3.4L isnt making enough power to really benefit from a stiffer clutch. you could get a stock one, there is no need to get one that will handle 500tq more than you have. you dont end up gaining anything
