Default Noob!! car runs hot lacks power and misses

Hi guys i hope someone can help. I just got a 94 6peed. I just put this back together with rebuilt heads new timing set. it has a flow master cat back system and k&n intake. It had a new opti put in less than 6k ago. It starts ok and idles but it seems to do a little idle searching and if you step on it it misses and hesitates. when you drive down the road and let off of it, it makes popping sounds and its under powered and then it starts to get warm. I checked my spark plug wires and they are all right. I have checked and cleaned my maf, and the check engine light is not on. any other ideas?

bleed again this time try parking on a hill with the front of the car up. when the motor is cold and off fill the radiator and open the beed screws till fluid comes out. the upper bleeder on the hose will not bleed without the motor running. once you get that done start it and this time bleed all the screws. close her up and take it for a ride around the block and take it back and do it again.

well if you got one of the cheap opti's then i would suspect the opti. best to scann for codes first. could save some major coin.
