Hey Guys i just bought soem new edelbrock performer heads and i was just wondering are these going to give me any substantial hp gains over stock lt1 heads? thanks for your help

 

Just by themselves, maybe a bit. They will start to help you out if you get a more agressive cam. If you increased the size of the combustion chamber from the stock heads, unless you plan on running forced induction, you'll probably loose power because your loosing compression.

 

Any cam suggestions?

 

Most recomend the LT4 Hotcam kit, it comes with 1.6 rockers and stiffer valve springs, if I get a cam, that'll be what I get. The Edelbrock Perfromer RPM LT1 cam is probably pretty nice too, but you don't get the whole package.
