Okay I am new to the site as well as I just bought a 97 Z28 last month its a convertabile 6 speed with 114 thousand miles paid 4000.00 straight body decsent interior leather went ahead and put cap rotor wires and plugs in the car fuel filter. The car has a SS hood on it my question is how do i make it ram air it isnt yet or is the SS hood just for looks also what are some of the best upgrade for the money I can do also put a k&n filter in it

 

you could try to find a used SS intake system, or buy a new one from SLP, but it'd be a waste of money. there's a thread stickied on where to start modding a 4th gen that you should read.

but cold air intake, catback, headers and Y pipe.
