Unhappy More Transmission problems

Vehicle: 1995 Z/28 M6 Convertible

I was going into an underground parking garage when I saw a friend of mine. I was already on the incline (pretty steep), so I put it in reverse and backed up. I got all sorts of smoke, from the tires, but I also smelled something different.

When I finished talking and drove down, I tried putting the car in reverse and it just kinda grinded. Almost like when you try to shift into 5th from 6th and you accidentally go into reverse and it kinda grinds...

I turned the car off, put in in reverse, started the car and let off the clutch. I heard some grinding noises so I put the clutch back in and turned the car off.

I also felt vibration in the clutch pedal...

Did I just ruin my reverse synchros?

I hope not...

Sounds like you broke something inside, or maybe snapped your clutch disc? Do all the forward gears work fine?

Yes. All of the forward gears work fine. Though they are a little harder to get into gear. I am thinking that maybe I need to bleed the clutch.

So....

Clutch hydraulic system was a little low and I bled it with a buddy of mine...

My synchroniser rings are toast...

We can get the car to reverse if we turn it off, put in in reverse, then start the car. I can live with that for the time being.

Anyone got a T-56 they wanna sell?

I'd be curious to pop it open and see what there is to see. What do you have to lose, if you're already looking at wanting to replace it.
Here's a T-56 service manual: http://www.ttcautomotive.com/English...ice_Manual.pdf
