ok my question is my 93 z28 camaro has some idling problems which stated in a previous post. now i was looking at my engine and realize this car do not have a map sensor, and mass air flow sensor on it. could this be the reason why this car shakes and runs rough. i just want to make sure. i used to own a 95 z28 and was wandering where are these sensors.

 

Your 93 car should have a MAP sensor and no MAF sensor. It will not run without a MAP sensor. Check the ECM for trouble codes. If there are no codes put in a new set of plugs & wires & see if the idle improves.

 

ok thanks. i was goimg to tune it up this friday. spark plugs, wires , fuel filter, air filter, and change the pcv valve.
