LT1 intake manifold

Default LT1 intake manifold
My question,what is the bottom-center hole in the intake and throttle-body ? EGR,,AIR,,PCV,,and can it be blocked for offroad-use-only ?

that hole is for your idle air control motor to feed air directly into each indavidual intake port just before the head. there is a small opening on the bottom of the intake port. heres some info from solomon, Idle air for the LT1

I Thank-You very Much,this info was Very helpful and I now better understand this engine now. I'm assembling it this Saturday and I'll try and post some pics for Everyone.
