Ok i have a 1996 z28 that i recently wrecked and bent the passenger side K member about two inches, i was curious if it would be cheaper to try to put it in the shop to see if they could fix it, or to try to get one from a salvage yard? The problem is is that in my area there is not alot of z28s in the salvage yard, soooo i was wondering if i could get a v6 K member instead? and if all the bolt holes would line up. Currently my car has been sitting for 6 to 7 months and iv had no one to help me figure it out. i have twin boys who are 14 months old so it hard to get the time to try to find a z28 parts car, so please if anyone knows i would greatly thank you!!! plus the bolt goes in at an angle.. i have another post but it says sub frame but i messed up, when its really the K member!

nope cant use a v6 k member with a v8. check on here far anyone parting out there's. can get a aftermarket one. like this.
