Default Ignition Module

On my brothers 93 Z28, his ignition modules keep burning up. We've tried the spacer trick but they all end up burning up. What could cause this?

If you put it in correctly, don't forget to use the module jell and check your voltage.

make sure the ground is not lose. there is a ground wire coming out of the wire harness that goes to the ignition module and should be connected on the front of the motor just below the module. either on the head or the block. there is also a tach module that hooks into the ignition module. check the wires to it for any damage. its a square box taped to the wire harness.
