hi well i own a 97 z28 and i was driving down the street and all of a sudden the clutch got supper soft so i pull over and check the clutch fluid and its empty so i put more and look under the car and its leaking it straight out i think my slave cylinder went out would this be hard to fix? if so would i need to remove the tranny?

 

on the 93 its on the outside so tranny would not have to come out if yours is the same. have a look under there and see if u can locate it. should be able to see the cylinder on the driver side.

 

it is outside of bellhouse on drivers side on the 97s i jus did a clutch in mine....wasnt too hard to get off shouldnt be a problem to change
