And I also can't figure out how exactly so collect the data in order to save it in a file to share...I want to keep using freescan and need to figure it out.

you can set the base idle by putting the system into diaognostic mod and turn the key on which closes the iac then unplug the iac and start the car. then set idle at 450 if im remembering right. i couldnt get mine to idle that low so its like at 550. after the tune for the converter trans and build i still idle at about 1000. sometimes itll go to 1200. thats with the 58 tb. i still havent figured the thing out either. cant seem to find time.

I found the rpm ranges. An m6 factory rpm setting is 800...an a4 in gear is 550 and in neutral is 650.

thats about where it was stock. once this motor and trans went in everything changed. im in third gear at about 10 mph unless im giving it half throttle. it flies through the gears.

My base rpm setting is already at 800 according to freescan, so something has to be throwing it off. I assume once resetting the steps and trying to get the tps voltage down I won't have this problem anymore.

**I'll try and post a link to my data file when I get it done tomorrow. Not sure how though, I'll figure it out.

I am posting my data log here as well, hopefully someone can take a look and let me know what problem areas I have and what I need to do. Thanks.

Last two logs were taken while idle in the garage, this log was taken while on a short drive to get the symptoms to occur and give data.

Still having a problem with that stupid dtc 42 EST Grounded or Short(IC Circuit/ignition)...whatever it is I mentioned earlier. I cleared the codes the other day and didn't get another until one of my scans today. Once I cleared it again I didn't get it back up all day. It's intermittent and idk how to really go about checking it now. Help? I did look at the diagrams from earlier, and they say to test the icm and coil and such which I have previously and all was good.

Ok, while doing more scans I keep seeing the MAP voltage very low. It is only about .3 or so voltage while the Baro press voltage is .98 ? I unplug the MAP and the idle steps come down and the vehicle seems to idle fine with only slight fluctuation between 800-1100 or so rpms. The MAP tests 5v reference. I don't check signal volts with a meter anymore since that is what the scan software reports. Could it be yet another bad or faulty MAP?
