Default Door Panels (i.e. Window Crank)

Can someone please explain to me how to get the door panel off my 1998 Chevy Camaro. I just bought it and I'm trying to troubleshoot the speakers in the doors because they are not working. I can get everything off the door except the Window Crank. HOW DO I GET THAT CRANK OFF????

Default RE: Door Panels (i.e. Window Crank)

The handle is held on to the shaft with a clip, You ned to insert a tool between the handle and the spacer to release the clip. The tool is J 9886-01, but you can find a universal tool at most auto stores. Basically a flat knife blade with a notch in the center that goes around the handle shaft.
