OK well I am sure plenty of people here have heard about Spectre Intake Systems. I was wondering about cutting out on the inside of my the bumper on my 94 z28 and opening it up like a forced induction behind the driver's side fog light opening. Just curious if anyone has done or seen something similar or ever had similar thoughts.

 

A true CAI sits right where you're talking about anyway. It sounds like you're going to try to make yourself a "Ram Air" sort of setup. You could do this, although you're not going to be getting any more power out of it unless you're going at least 80, for something that's just a regular cone filter and isn't sealed to some sort of scoop you probably won't be able to get anything at all really. Not the way I would spend my money, but to each their own.
