you could try jb weld on the crack if its only on the outside i had an old a*FFF!* pick up that the block cracked when i was on vacation stuck it on there as a temp fix just to get her home it lasted as long as i had the thing

It's a bad feeling when you realize what has happened. I know becasue i did it many years ago with a good, low miles Chrysler 383. Doh! The car had overheating problems during the summer and I got tired of adding anti-freeze. We got a cold snap in Novemeber and you can guess the rest. "Hey, why is steam coming out the hood cracks?" and after opening the hood "What are those round things laying on the ground?"

lol yea... thanks for the wishes. Man it just sucks that it happened this time of year! I Have it up on blocks im gonna take it apart this weekend and see what i can get done. I was saving up my money to put a fully built trans in my cummins which is my dd. Guess 1100 lbs of torque is too much for a billet single disk. so now I have a tough decision to make lol...
