Default cracked dash

hey I have a cracked dashboard its not too big but it is in my line of sight when I am driving I was wondering if there is a cheap fix like should I tape it down and then get somekind of dashboard decal or something that blends in black. I did see something called the dashmat but I havent really seen any good pictures too see if i should go that way or not if you have a dashmat please post good CLEAR pictures so I can see thanks in advance

Just a suggestion, this is what my dad has done on many of the cars we've had; first fill the crack in with clear silicon (caulking) and make it even with the dash, not bulging over. Then spray it with vinyl dye of the correct color (Go to your local Sherwin Williams or paint store, and get the factory matching color made by SEM. Its good stuff) The silicone might not have the same texture as the dash but its a quick easy fix and cheap. Hope that might help.

JB weld is good, too... But if it's cracked as bad as mine is, you'll never fix it. Anybody got a '96 dash for sale?

I once had a 96, and accidentally cracked the dash while removing it (those damn clips don't want to give easily).
I lined it up from the front side, then temporarily duct taped it in place. Then I sanded down the cracked area on the back side, and patched it together using epoxy with fiberglass cloth. When all was done, you had to know where the crack was to see it. Saved a bundle that way.
