My 97 SS is going under the knife for the clutch tomorrow. I bought a kit off ebay at it's a stage1. Was this good or bad? I had a 91 Corvette with a 6spd and replaced that clutch with a LUK kit. I hated it so that is why I went this route.

I don't know what stage 1 really means, but it really kinda late to worry about it, being that you spent the money. Install it, find out how it works out & let us know how it worked out.
