Hey everyone,
I've been into camaros ever since my friend bought one 4 years ago and I finally have the money to purchase. I found a 1996 Z28 6 speed(http://cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp...p;aff=national) semi-close to my house. I've talked to the owner about it and the easy stuff(bolt-ons) were done by him but the engine rebuild, head work, and rear end work were done by professionals. It is OBDII so it should pass emissions here in Connecticut. What I am worried about is that it is a rebuilt salvage title. It was legally registered in New York and their DMV passed it as a safe rebuild but I'm not sure how that works exactly. Any recommendations? Thanks.

I agree, also the price is on the high side for a good 96. A NY salvage title means the car was declared a total loss by the insurance company, sold as scrap, and restored to pass DMV inspection. I would stay away from it.
