it sounds like a pretty good deal, i'd say give it a once over yourself and then try to haggel, but 2k already seems like a great price

So how many miles are on it now?

Sounds like someone spent a lot of money building a six,do they have documentation and reciepts to prove it all?

If the story is true and done recently and the car looks and runs good it seems like a fair enough deal.
Perhaps the owner did all that and was disappointed with the results and figured.........

well its a friend of mine from school. i drove it the other day and it runs and sounds good. he said that when he did the rebuild he opend the tranny and he said everything looked fine and when i drove it it shifted fine and everything. the biggest thing holding me back is the fact that its not a v8...i currently have a 4 cyl mustang and man what a bad idea that was. i had the money for my neighbors 85 v8 camaro rust and rot free and garaged and i wasted it on that piece of crap and put over $3000 into it and never got to a swap...well will see how it goes nd ill post up what i do...if anyone has anymore say on what i should do feel free to tell me what u think

And it's still a big step up from an anemic 4 banger Ford.

ahhhhhh men haha. if you do get it, make sure you can get brands of all the parts and the shops that did the machine work for him, just so you know what replacement parts you would ever need down the road.
