Default Bad Start up

Lately my car is having a hard time cranking it'll start up and die the first time wich is pretty scary....and on a second try it'll start up fine. I Last year I replaced my opti-spark hopefully it's not going out. I alwso put in new plugs and wires when I replaced it. On Monday I put in some Fuel Injection System Cleaner and still having the same problem. Thought it was maybe bad gas......Could maybe my starter be going out? or the fuel injectors???? cause if I catch fast enought on a bad start up and give it some gas the car will run.... Sometimes it feel's like it will run rough after a rough start up also...if any of that made any sense lol.

well my car was doing something similar. If i let it sit overnight it would crank and crank and wouldnt start for awhile, but once i got it started if it didnt sit more any more than say 3 hours it would start up fine. It ended up being that my fuel pressure regulator was bad and letting the fuel in the lines bleed back into the tank. My advice would be to check your fuel pressure around 41 to 47 lbs. with the key on

Well I guess I'll get that checked out soon then. I was also wondering lol I know this sound's silly but, im wanting to get some Headers.... my pops is telling me I'm going to have to need true dual exhaust because most Headers don't match up with stock exhaust. So, im out looking for the setup and can't really find em...... guessing it's a custom thing, do I really need to have true for headers or will they connect with stock pipes for the mean time. Just looking for some help =p cause i'm a car nub.
