My maro is an auto. I was told that it's easy to change to a stick because maros come with some type of universal set up. does this sound true. how hard or should I say expensive would it b to make the change cuz I would have a shop do the work

My car has the t56 swap. the best thing to do is find a donor car and get all the parts you need in one shot. i also went with the Tick Performance custom master cylinder which is an upgrade from the weak stock piece. Depending on the transmission your swap can cost anywhere from 1500-5000.

You can buy the T56 plugs you need off of ebay for about $30 and rewire what you have.

I also went with the LS7 Clutch/LS2 Flywheel and the Tick Performance Stage 2 T56 and the GMPP slave which made my swap a little more money than most.
