another problem with the p4 tranny

Default another problem with the p4 tranny

whenever i let off the clutch in first gear it will grind. i can get it so it doesnt grind but i have to take offf REALLY slow, almost to the point where i stall it. what should i do. any suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance

well i'm not much on trannys but, i do know it's definately internal and it's something your gonna have to pull the tranny for. someone put some hard miles on your car dude. sick

What is grinding ? The transmission gears or the clutch. Is the transmission all the way in first gear before you let the cluch up? There is really no way for the transmission to grind if the gears are fully engaged when the clutch is released, unless there are broken internal parts, in which case it should't be able to move the car. May want tho check the shift linkage & make sure everything is set correctly.
