Advice on 1995 Z-28 Purchase
Hello, I am looking at purchasing a 1995 Z-28 Convertible and have a few issues. The Radiator light came on while I was driving it and the A/C compressor is not coming on so that Air conditioning is not working. The top is 2 years old and has a small gap on the passenger side. This is a really nice car and was a 1 owner and it seemed to be well taken care of. The car has 91,000 miles on it and the asking price is 6000 dollars. What issues could I run into? Does the engine need to be dropped to replace the A/C compressor? Any help would be great.
That price is too high for a 91,000 mile car, it should go for closer to 5500 or less.
That being said, you can replace the compressor without dropping the motor, but it's going to be a tight job (everything is a tight job on an LT1). The Radiator light is the most concerning part, you may want to look into that a bit more before you decide to go for it.

Maybe a little off subject but are 95 Z28 worth that much?
I bought my 94' Z28 for $2900. Everything works on my car; power everything and all stock!
Is there a big discrepancy between the 94' Camaro and 94' Camaro value? I could pick up another 94' Camaro down the street from my house for $3500...everything works except for leaking AC unit.
