Has anyone with the lt1and traction contol put on the K&N Full air intake? K&N says it wont fit? Is there a different product used in this case? i wantto add15 HP like they claim!!!!!

 

you can get the K&N cold air intake, ive never heard it not fitting, you can even go to their website and see what they have available for your year.It wont add 15hp like they claim, the most you will see is 4-5hp.

 

I've was curious about that too cause It says on the K&N website that it wont fit my 95 z28 with traction control and when I talked to somebody at K&N they didnt give me a good enough answer as to if it would fit even though I have a traction control device on my camaro. Has anybody have any suggestions about what I should do cause till I find out if it would fit I've been putting off buying it. So if anybody could help me I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

 

you can put the k&n intake on no problem, there is no sensor for traction control even near the intake so i dont know why they would say that, and traction control has nothing to do with the air intake anyways, go ahead and buy it if you want you will have no issues its pretty easy to install

 

unless traction control uses a fly-by-wire sort of device on the TB i cant imagine there being anything near the intake. people have asked this before, sorry we dont have a more specific answer. maybe someone will chime in here shortly

 

If your looking at buying one i have one. All i need to do is get my ram air and you can have it for alotcheaper than new. then atleast if it doesn't work you didn't waste as much money. PM me if your interested.
