Default Adding Traction Control

Is is possible to add traction control to a 1994 Z28 by using a computer from a car that has it? Mine currently does not have it, but sure would be nice to be able to retro fit it!

Theoretically anything is possible, but it's probably not going to be an easy undertaking. Your car is OBDI and all the cars that came with TCS are OBDII, thus meaning they have more sensors and stuff that you don't have the ports for etc. I'm sure it's possible, but why do you want TCS anyway?

Hmm, I didn't know that TCS was an option on the '95's, I thought it started in '96. In that case, I'm not exactly sure, you would have to get the TCS program...I still wouldn't put fourth the effort, but maybe try looking further into it, talk to a local F-body or Corvette shop and see what they say.

Need TCS for winter driving as I cannot afford a decent winter car. But from what I've found, it is not worth the expense to install TCS on the car.

"ASR" Accelerated Slip Regulation. "TCS" Traction Control System. Two names for the same thing from GM. I guess ASR didn't register with many people. LOL
