Exclamation Abs inop

Since im new to working on camaros and cars in general i thought i would get all the help i could from everyone here who has been there and done it. Anyways my car's abs is out and the abs light is on. I was wondering what the steps would be as far as troubleshooting this problem would be. Any advice is good advice. Just trying to save some money and learn about my new love. Thanks!

Easiest way is to get the car scanned, the scan will tell you what the complaint is, and then you know where to start to fix the problem. You will need a dedicated ABS scanner or a big buck professional scanner such as Tech II, OTC, etc..

Usually when the light is on solid it's an indication that either one of the wheel speed sensors has gone bad, or the connector/flexi-wire-thing has gone bad. Scanning will help you narrow down the issue and is much faster than crawling under your car to replace things that may not fix the problem, take Pete's advice before you throw money at the car.
