Default 95 engine swap

I have a 95 3.4 camaro. The V-6 isn't good enough. I want to put a 383 stroker in it. I have the block but wonder if it is to hard to bother. My plan is to just have it carburated not fuel injection. I am planning on re-doing the interior and exterior. I live in indiana so I doubt emissions will be a problem. If you have any advise let me know.

This can be a ,major transplant, especially if you are going to use a manual transmission. My suggestion is to trade in for a v8 car and then go to the 383. Otherwise you will need in addition to the engine, the complete V8 drivetrain, ECU, wiring harnesses, etc.. Going to a carburator will make things a little simpler, if you are not going to register the car. Otherwise, if your state does emission tests it is going to fail, just because it has a carb instead of fuel injection.

Just another thaught. Your 383 needs to be based on an LT1 block, otherwise you may not have clearance for a distributor at the rear of the engine, or clearance under the hood for anything other than a LT1 type injection sytem.

I'v seen guys put carbed motors in the 4th gen chassis but they cut part of the cowl away and need to run at least a 3 inch cowl induction hood.
