it turns out my brother owns an actron 9145. i tried scanning my car but it said there is an error.

just to be sure, your vehicle does have the OBD2 connector; right?

Did you go through "setup" and choose 1995 camaro?

I have no issues with the 9145 reading my car

yeah i do have the obd2 connector. i didnt choose 95 camaro though. i'll try that. thnx.
