Default Tremec tr-6060

I have a 2000 camaro ss and when i put it up in the air i noticed it has a tremec trans. Im assuming its a tr-6060 but i thought these cars came with a t-56 borg warner trans. did some ss have a tremec?

i hae just found that the T56 is a 'tremac borg warner' build, so thats the confusion in the naming

i read somewhere that the tremec was used as a replacement for the t56 but you're saying that the tremec tr-6060 is that same tranny as a t56? i just want to get it straight
