I'm saying more over shooting for thing, and getting more in the end. I know the LT could pull 400 at the wheels with some time and money. Unfortunately, neither of those I have.

my previous project was a supercharged honda civic(dont hate on me) and it reacted the same way with making more power than expected, i feel satisfide with the time and money i have spent. now if i could just convince the wife it was worth it! lol. still curious about the reverse split cams though, i keep hearing good things about them. someday ill have a chance to play with one im sure...

But how does it drive now? Does it feel much faster? Does the traction control cut in a lot more? Is traction an issue?

thats a nice number

what dyno were you on ? and what do you run at the track....trap speed is ..in my oppinion ....is the best estimate of power and getting it to the road.

I've been tuning my 228R cam with ls2 heads on my auto but not had a dyno yet.. just running on strip...best of 12.3 @ 118 mph but with a poor 2.0 60 ft time. So should be an 11 sec car.

With regards to the tune, im running pretty high timing up at 28 deg at 6500 rpm with 12.6 afr to be on safe side....you running leaner or richer ...does it help ??

first off, sorry i didnt respond sooner, life happened.

after a lot of tweaking with the tuning, the car drives really good. feels a ton faster and stronger than before. i dont have traction control in my car, was an option the original buyer didnt get.

i used a place in lebanon, pa. when i did the dyno tune. i have only had the car down the strip once since the build and i had massive traction issues. i was using the street tires so it was only for fun. my best for the day was 12.14 at something like 122 mph. cant remember exact numbers though. for my tune, looks like im about 27 degrees at 6400. and my afr for most driving is around 14.7 and at wot it richens up to about 13.2.
