Hey guy's i have a 1997 Camaro Z28 with a LT1 so far i have a K&N drop in filter and a borla xr-1 cat back exhaust. i bought the car with these mod's i plain to do headers and a few other thing's like a cold air intake and a jet MAF, maybe a fuel pump and injectors. I can get a used Procharger for 1,000 plus with a 2 row aftercooler. should i just do that? what PCM programmer should i use with that?

its gonna take more than that, you are lookincam and heads to get those numbers

 

i think i can hit 350whp with long tube headers cat delete y pipe. 52mm throttle body LT4 intake manifold. Intake. Maybe a cam

 

Some thigs you may have not yet thought about to free up lost horsepower... !A/C delete, electric-driven water pump (about 15-25 hp), underdrive pulleys, Adjustable fuel pressure regulator in conjunction with the pump and injectors, Port and polish the heads ( or go aftermarket), LT4 hotcam package
i would go with the procharger, although you probably would want to change the pistons to compensate for the added stress the boost is going to provide. $1,000 for a Procharger is a great deal man

 

i want to keep a/c and i allready have the electric water pump. im going to do the LT4 cam and the roller rocker's and LT4 intake set up next with the 52mm throttle body. and use HP tuner i think with maybe some injectors also i can hit 350whp

 

Buy an ls6 good for 404 hp or get an ls7 good for 500 hp.

and your probably on the WRX forums saying:yeah, I don't have that much money to spend on this WRX, I got a camaro i'm putting an LS7 in right now.

 

lol, I still say for 400 at the wheels hes lookin at 470 hp at the crank to get it, and the lt1 was good for like 310 as i recall, so that means what i said heads cam intake
