I am planning on spending about 5k in upgrades for my 2002 25th Collectors SS here is a list of what I all ready have please tell me what I should buy for just performance

I Want to get a new set of rubbers, headers and electric cut-outs (and where should I get them installed) and a cam, I don't know what size because I don't want to risk damage to my motor. On top of that I want more stuff including gears, I race in the 1/8 so if you could help what brands of what I mentioned should I get and what else on top of that should I buy. My car only has 21k miles on it. And I don't want nitrous yet...

 

thats a nice mod list so far big on the slp part huh? a set of hoosier quick time pro's will hook well probably a 27" tire will be good. and if your gearing it for the 1/8 mile track and dont care much about mpg or street driving then you'll want lik 4.30-4.56 gears in the rear. you may also want a 12 bolt or 9". as for cams idk wat cams lsx motors lik but if you wanna go big race car cam and get some awesome times i watched a cam only ls1 car with a trex cam go 10.76 in the 1/4. make sure you get LT headers for it. some weight reduction will help your times i think after the exhaust an electric water pump your ready for cam/heads hopefully i helped with something. i dont read up to much on lsx cars
