I agree. After market MAF's are a waste of money unless you have the need and tuning ability to need it. The LS6 is a cheap upgrade if you dont already have one (depends on year). You can pick one up for 300 bucks give or take. The FAST is the only after market manifold out there worth the money but for 800 bucks i could think of better mods to spend my money on.

HUGE NASTY CAM IS NOT THE WAY YOU WANT TO GO FOR A STREET CAR. You will also need a good tune to manage it plus springs.

Default tune it

My best time ever was an 11.87@121. Ls6 heads ported and polished, Hot cam by GM, 85mm TB and Maf, LT headers, SLP loud mouth and y pipe plus the flo pack. custom Diablo tune, Nitto drags , adjustable suspension everywhere and 3.73 cogs that's just big stuff a lot of little things and months of tuning. Thanx to the input from the forum boys I got my stall yank 3600 and love it! I think i can hit 11.5 without spray. We shall see this season. Good luck stang killa

You will not see huge gains over the LS6 to the FAST. Maybe 8 or so horses to the wheels. The LS6 is a great manifold to start with.

Also you are not hearing what people are telling you. A huge cam will not only be nearly impossible to drive on the street but also will take you out of your power band.

the gains are around 15hp.... but only on highly modified applications. for you its not a big deal. stay with the LS6
