yeah do full bolt ons, full exaust, heads, cam, and gears and you should get there.now the idea is not to put the biggest heads and cam you can find, you have to get them matched to work with your goals.putting too large heads and cam could actually hurt you.

If you want mid 11s and without giving up all drivability, here's what I'd suggest:

Full bolt-ons (including gears), light porting/polishing of the heads and intake, a relatively small cam (as Alih said it has to match the setup. bigger isn't always better), a 100 shot of nitrous, and a few suspension goodies. That, some sticky tires, and the driver mod will IMO get you to mid 11s.

ok for an ls1 camaro it does not take that much to hit mid 11s a full suspension with full exhaust and run mid 12s you do that and shoot a 100 shot you got mid 11s. i watched an ls1 car run 10.76 with a cam bolt ons and suspension. it depends on wat you want to do to get there. you could spray a 150 shot with a full suspension sticky tires exhaust and cai and you should hav your 11.5

you dont want to go too big because if you develop choke points in the air flow, and reservoirs you end up losing power. over-camming can lead to a car falling flat on its face. no torque due to overlap of lobes, no high rpm hp due to restrictions of other parts.

A lot depends on how you want to get there. If this is a A4 car a good converter can make a huge difference. If its a M6 then a strong clutch is a must. A lot will come down on traction so 555Rs or MT's are going to be a must at the minimal. A good set of 3.73s or 4.10s will also cut off some good time once you have the traction.

A 3200 stall, with 4.10s and say a mild 125 shot with say lid, y-pipe, exhaust, and tune should go 11.5 with no problem as long as you can hook (once again traction goes a long way) and still be able to run 12.5-12.7 with out the bottle.

If you want to stay away from the spray then your in for a little bit of work. Tires, converter, and gears are still going to be good investment but your going to need a good head/cam package with headers to make get into the 11s.

Once you get into the 11s your rear end is going to go in only a matter of time. If its a m6 car its going to be sooner then later.

Good luck and keep us up to date.

mid 12s if you hook well. but i dont know if the TB and MAF are really important mods at that point. depending on year I would get the ls6 intake manifold (which i still need to get dangit) and then worry about the tune. the stock TB should flow plenty until you have a cam in there, but all the same i dont think it will hurt you any.

I tend to agree with Spec here. Don't waste your money on a new MAF or TB, you need to be making some serious power before you need to look into upgrading those. Focus on intake, full exhaust and some good tires so you can actually use the power you're making.

Side note: Speaking of LS6's my dad just got headers for his Z06...this is going to be sweet...
