No it's an older grind that they replaced awhile ago. I can't remember which cam replaced it though, but it has similar numbers. I could probably gain 10 hp or so by going with a more modern grind but I am notthat worried about it.

Hey JD I talked to John Reynolds over at TSP yesterday. He told me that for a daily driverI shouldgo with the stage 1.5 5.3 heads and one of the torquer cams. He said that i will see better power production out of that set up as well. He said there are 60 cars who have that set up and they've all seen 100+ hp gains. He also told me that he would reccomend going with the Ram powergrip clutch over the spec, bc ppl have been having problems with the specs comin apart. Prices- heads and cam--$2000, Clutch--$365, Tune--$300, Install--$1535,Whooping some Cobra ***--PRICELESS.
