Im looking at getting my heads, cam, clutch, and rearend swapped out this summer. The heads im lookin at now are the Texas Speed Stage 1.0 LS6 heads and a MS4 cam. My question is, is this a good set up for a daily driver or is the cam too radical?

 

It will all depend on the tune. The MS4 is a preety big cam, a little bigger than mine but I can daily drive mine. You mpg will suffer a bit, but your looking at 420+ rwhp with that set-up.

No I put it in, I do 100% of the work to the car. The only thing I cannot do is machine work.

 

Would a spec 3 clutch be a good clutch to go with this set up?

 

That should be fine, I ran a Spec stage 3 when I was a 6 speed.

 

ok with that head and cam package and a moser ford 9inch w/ 4.11s what should i be seeing in the quarter mile? I'll probably have MT drag radials too
