front spring on wrong?

front spring on wrong?
I noticed today when i.took my.driverside tire off that the.strut spring is actually almost touching the upper control arm nut... my.question is .. can it be seated 180 degrees off...looks like one side of the spring coils out a little more just at the top..if that makes any sense.. ill try to.post a pix of it if i.can figure it out... on my phone
